In which I fail as a cat dad.

So school is over.
Dont as me how i did because I havent the foggiest clue.
I did start work at my summer job, and the schedule is 8-5, which is a big adjustment for my nocturnal self.
I'm generally not even coherent until 10, at least.

With that in mind, what happened this morning is kind of expected, buut is still utter fail.

I locked the Fuzz in the bathroom by accident, and went to work.

Came home to a destroyed bathroom.
Cat shit on the bathmat.

And blood all over the sink, the walls, the tub and the toilet.

He'd torn 2 claws trying to get out through the window screen. One is split lengthwise to the quick and seems to have stripped the outer layer off the other. I washed the damaged paw is peroxide and rubbing alcohol, but its still swollen and very tender.

If it doesnt get better overnight I'll be calling the vet.

IF there's any way to get some neosporin triple antibiotic cream onto the wound, that should help. Vets see damaged kitty claws all the time and will know what to do.
