Apr. 3rd, 2009 10:28 amOh all knowing Friends List,
I bring a question to you.
I have applied for a job at an agency I know. The job is a natural progression of what i do now, and I make up for not having an MSW in experience points. The posting is open until May 5th.
So I applied on March 11th and notified my contact with the agency, who is a director, but is a director in a parallel branch. She told me that my resume wold be flagged. I got no response yet.
So I sent a follow up email this Monday. Still no response.
I'm of two minds on this.
One - the posting is open until May 5th, and they have not even started looking at the resumes yet, so I should STFU and wait.( there are 4 votes for that one)
Two- they saw the resume, and are not interested because its already been a month ( there is one vote for that)
What do you guys think?
